Visión General
El proyecto se centró en desarrollar una plataforma de juegos clásicos basada en tecnología blockchain y web3, ofreciendo a los jugadores la oportunidad de ganar criptomonedas mientras disfrutan de sus juegos favoritos.
La aplicación permite a los usuarios unirse a salas públicas o privadas, competir contra amigos u otros jugadores, y apostar tokens de la plataforma. Al final de cada juego, los ganadores reciben sus recompensas en tokens. Además, los jugadores acumulan puntos en un sistema de clasificación que les otorga recompensas adicionales semanal y mensualmente, proporcionando una experiencia de juego divertida y rentable.

Transforming the experience of classic games through a blockchain-based platform
Overview
The project focused on developing a classic games platform based on blockchain and web3 technology, offering players the opportunity to earn cryptocurrencies while enjoying their favorite games. The application allows users to join public or private rooms, compete against friends or other players, and bet platform tokens. At the end of each game, winners receive their rewards in tokens. Additionally, players accumulate points in a ranking system that grants them extra rewards weekly and monthly, providing a fun and profitable gaming experience. This project offers an innovative way to enjoy classic games with a unique and exciting experience.
Problem Statement
Upon analyzing the crypto gaming market, it was found that many current titles do not offer a solid value proposition or transparent rewards for users. This has left players without a space to enjoy classic and board games while competing for real money. The lack of options has created high entry barriers and excessive centralization across numerous online gaming platforms, complicating the user experience and limiting participation. Therefore, it is essential to develop a solution that addresses these shortcomings and provides players with an accessible and fair environment to enjoy their favorite games.
Players of classic and board games need a platform that centralizes their gaming experiences and provides clear rewards. Currently, they must use multiple apps that lack true ownership and transparent rewards, causing frustration due to high entry barriers and centralized control.
Goal
Technical requirements were analyzed to define the project scope, with the main goal of creating an accessible gaming platform that utilizes blockchain and web3 technologies. This platform will provide a decentralized and secure gaming environment, allowing players to have true ownership of their assets. Competitions will be fair, with the ability to create rooms for online matches, whether 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2, and daily tournaments will drive community growth. The solution is a platform that centralizes the gaming experience, enabling players to enjoy classic and board games while competing for rewards in cryptocurrencies.
Ideation
For the ideation, concepts were used that evoke the experience of being in an arcade game stadium, where colors, typography, and visual elements play a crucial role. A competitive analysis was conducted to understand the state of the art in crypto games, which allowed for identifying differentiation opportunities in the platform's user interface (UI). Additionally, an information architecture centered on the user was designed, with a special emphasis on creating game rooms and leaderboards. This approach ensures that players enjoy a smooth and engaging experience, fostering participation and competition in a playful and exciting environment.
Design
The platform was developed using Next.js and Tailwind CSS for styling. A design system was created in Figma, allowing components to be imported into Tailwind CSS, speeding up the platform's construction process. This design system included components, icons, color palettes, and associated tokens to facilitate integration into the code. Multiple iterations of different views were developed, both for mobile and desktop versions, to ensure a responsive and user-friendly experience. The focus was on providing a seamless interaction and experience for users, ensuring the platform's functionality and visual consistency.
Handoff
As the final deliverable, a comprehensive design system was established, encompassing all essential information and documentation, such as icons, typography, color palettes, and clear guidelines for the expansion of future sections of the platform. This system not only provides a solid foundation for visual consistency and functionality but is also designed to be scalable and adaptable as the project progresses. Although development is ongoing, the design system will continue to evolve and be refined, ensuring that the user experience remains at the forefront of every iteration.
Impact
The application remains in an active development phase, making it difficult to measure its success definitively. However, there has been a growing adoption by new players and a significant increase in interaction and interest on social media, demonstrating the platform's potential for expansion. As the user experience continues to be optimized and design details are refined, the project progresses in the search for strategic investors to boost scalability and achieve a greater impact in the crypto gaming market.
